Swoops Gathers Crowd Of Over 50 On Corner
12:52 pm: About 50 people gathered this afternoon at the corner of Front Street and California to watch Swoops attack the lunch time walkers. Attacks are down today. Swoops flew across Front Street and above the group on the corner. The crowd gasped. One member of the crowd commented "he is looking for new targets."

IT GOT ME!
ReplyDeleteI had to check for myself, stay away from that tree, that bird is vicious. It has a mean look in its eyes and is afraid of no man; or woman. It got me too!
ReplyDeleteIm a the "Secret Lover" of a Attack bird Victim!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOnce Swoop's nestlings fledge, the babies will be on the ground for a bit while Swoops feeds and looks after them. People should definitely give Swoops and baby space (well, as much as possible under the circumstances) because it will be a week or two before a fledgling can fully fly. A lot of fledglings get mistakenly "rescued" -- or forced into dangerous situations by unaware passersby because people don't realize that it's natural for the young to be on the ground for a bit, with imperfect flying skills.
ReplyDelete"SOOOO funny." Oh yes. Hey, I'll tell you what'd be funnier. Poor oil over the sidewalk and when people slip and fall, you can laugh at them, too!
