CBS 5 Makes It Official: Swoops Has Left The Building

  2. I went to Embaracadero Square today for lunch.
    Amongst the pigeons, I saw two juvenile female Brewer's blackbirds (actually brown and quite small). Possibly one if not both of Swoops' offspring? Who knows?
    I wasn't divebombed.

    In any event, the Brewer's blackbird holds special meaning for me now having been able to experience the Swoops' phenomenon.

    *Note*: I never once sat across the street laughing at people getting divebombed as that would have been a disservice to the local fauna whose lives were actually made much more difficult by the slack jawed gawking of the locals.

    Leave the local wildlife alone people.
